Gas Lines, Bleh.

 We are waiting in line for gas right now. Been about an hour.

We have no electricity still and the estimated time of restoration is September 8. 

Someone took our grill so we’ve been finding hot meals around town along with water and ice. 

We applied for the Army Corps of Engineers Blue Roof program but they are MIA. Our insurance company is also nowhere to be found despite multiple emails and phone calls. 

The pets have had better days. They are hot and miserable. The rats and cats look more like splats. And my poor little Coconut is having trouble breathing. Not sure if he’s going to make it but we take him with us when go to get cooled off in the car.

On a good note, friends are coming tomorrow to help and bring supplies so hopefully we can get everything secured tomorrow.

Once everything is secured we will then decide whether to stay or go until the power comes back.
